자우림(紫雨林) Jaurim, a well-established Korean indie rock band.
When I first saw her, I was pretty taken aback. Just couldn't associate such a powerful voice to an ethereal face like that.
Is it just me, or is she beautiful? Porcelain skin, rapunzel-ish hair, alluringly dark demeanour - I have read many reviews raving of her vocals, but not about her appearance.
Is she not considered beautiful? With 7 band albums and 2 solos under her belt, together with that fact that she's married with a baby boy - delishhh.

Carnival Amour - Jaurim at 김정은의 초콜릿 (I absolutely fell for her here.)
For the uninitiated, 이석훈 is the delicious addition, or should I say replacement in SG Wannabe. I like his voice. And his looks, definitely, except for the weird movement of eyebrows that is all distracting when he is singing.
Oh well, if that helps in bringing out the voice, it can be ignored.
Enjoy the song...unfortunately, the quality is crap; but 좀 참어... cos the voice makes up for it. :)
This time it is not so much about the singer but the song.
This song is a classic, 취중진담 (醉中真談)by Kim Dong Ryul.
I love the lyrics; they tug at the heart strings in a simple, straightforward way, have the "awwww" factor without being mushy, too direct, repetitive or whatever other sins there are committed by ballads nowadays.
Unfortunately I don't like Kim Dong Ryul's voice, the Fly To The Sky version sounded as if they were onboard a bullet train; Mithra Jin's version sounded like a clone of Kim Dong Ryul's version and though Park Hyo Shin's version was the best, it was a live concert and that meant the characteristic screaming of crazy fans which killed the performance.
So I was left with K's version. Don't like his voice, don't like his version, but it is a still a good song nonetheless.

Unfortunately their agency had them record an album of rather forgettable ballads with not much space to showcase their talents. Hearing from their live performances, I realised that they were not bad.
I suggest you turn down the volume. This rocker has amazing vocals, in terms of volume as well. One heck of a talented guy, plays multiple instruments, creates his own music - you can almost call him a one-man band. All he needs now is multiple limbs to play everything simultaneously...
